A few years ago, my family went to New Mexico after Christmas. One chilly afternoon, we decided to go for a hike. So we headed up to some nearby mountains for a 3 mile hike. As we were walking back to our car, the sun started to go down. The light kept changing as the sun got lower, and there was a short time when the light outside was incredible. Everything seemed to be glowing golden. I took pictures with my phone and created this painting from one of my favorites. It’s called “Last Light.”
