My intention, to spark personal recollections in the viewer from an unconventional
perspective, carefully building layers leaving a translucent history, (obsession with layers!)
using depth of colour, luminescence and surface transitions, transitions of slight
sodalities. The complexity of this process takes me on a journey each and every time I
paint, the adding and subtracting of paint almost a staining of the canvas, building up the
depth layer by layer by layer!
