A glimpse of premeditation, ending in energy transformation! Work is about movement, manipulation & responding to colour transformations, the pigment itself. My work seeks to reframe watercolour within the context of contemporary art, challenging preconceived notions of what this medium can achieve.
The prep of the birch panel lets me achieve physical texture within the work that you can not achieve in a traditional watercolour.
