As sunrise brushes across the ruins of Terlingua Ghost Town outside Big Bend National Park, the seemingly drab desert is backlit with color. On this winter dawn, yellow and gold sunlight gilded the softly crumbling ruins; translucent prickly pear held the light and even the creosote bushes glowed with the light of a new day."
