We were in our RV in Santa Fe for an invitational exhibit of Texas art, and my sister sent flowers to the gallery on opening night. I felt suddenly special and at ease, and my big painting sold. I took the flowers home, then drew them the next day. And never opened that pad of paper again! I recently found this old and forgotten drawing in an almost used up pad of drawing paper. But the heavily burnished, finely detailed spray of color waited patiently between sheets of acid-free paper to be found and shared as if it were new. That's quite a gift!
