Hiking can become a treasure hunt when you look closely at the pockets of nature that appear all around. The intricate pattern of leaves around these tall but teensy clusters of white blooms stood out against the more conventional foliage as if begging to star in my next painting.
This painting doesn't need glass over it. The archival matte varnish protects it and keeps these rich colors intense and vivid.
