The reason I chose the title for this piece is because it depicts chances in color, chances in color values and makes me feel that I could just drift away. I created this piece a few weeks ago, when I was feeling like I would like to escape and let my mind drift. This usually translates into letting my feelings flow on the painting so that it is possible to visualize those feelings on the canvas. My inspiration in creating this piece is a choice to let go and become more in touch with getting my thoughts, feelings, and emotions in my paintings - an exercise that is sometimes difficult for those of us who like to bottle up feelings. But the reward is absolutely wonderful - the paintings are much more full of expression and become statements of their own. This painting is a 3 piece set of 12" x 12" canvases so the overall width is at least 36". I suggest hanging them with at least 1/2" between them if you hang them together. You can also hang them separately of course. This modern, contemporary, abstract painting is a flowing visual creation that includes, blues, greens and some light yellow. The edges are painted black and the painting does not require a frame - it is ready to hang. A UV-protective satin varnish has been applied.
