The reason I chose the title for this piece is because it could touch art lovers in a number of ways. From the 'life is hard and I'm pushing through' point of view, I am definitely still here. We all have struggles, we all have experiences to be elated about. After the storm or after the celebration, I am Still Here. From the inspirational point of view, I know that God is still here. No matter what happens, he is still here for me and anyone else who seeks him. I created this piece after some recent life changing events so it really has a very special meaning tome. My inspiration in creating this piece and other landscape paintings I create comes from the beautiful sunsets I try to capture in photos. No two are alike and most are at the same breathtaking as they are comforting. This landscape sunset (sunrise okay) painting has a lot of texture, consists of sunset colors such as blues, whites, and some light apricot and pinks and purples. The sides have been painted black, no frame is required and the painting is ready to hang.
