Artist Bio

Jonathan Curtis is an Oklahoma native and graphic design graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. Since his first job to his current role as a self-employed designer, he has spent most of his time creating visual experiences with print design and environmental graphics.

“When Kimray inquired about some environmental graphics for their facilities, the chance to join the Triple-A collection was the most exciting,” Jonathan says. “I was inspired to create something bold and unique that would complement my minimalist aesthetic. I set out to simplify this complex, industrial structure down to basic geometric forms. Waterjet cutting the monoline design out of a single sheet of ¾-inch aluminum and powder-coating it with Kimray’s very own glossy red seemed to be the perfect way to finish it.”
