MessageCollection: Hyde Park Series 2025
Hyde Park is a series of paintings developed over more than a year of weekly visits to paint and draw en plein air, observing the park’s seasonal changes and the effects of the polyphagous shot-hole borer on its landscape. The works honour Hyde Park’s beauty, history and role as an urban wildlife sanctuary, while acknowledging its ecological vulnerability and importance to the local community.
