Eco Grief is part of my Ocean Bodies series, which explores the relationship between the human body and the more-than-human world. Made with graphite on dyed Sekishu paper over 3D printed bio-filament, the sculpture combines hand drawing with digital fabrication. The work reflects on ecological grief and the ways environmental change is felt physically and psychologically. Its small scale suggests a fragment, study, or remnant—an object that holds the vulnerability of the body within larger oceanic and ecological systems.
