This sculpture titled `Making Moves` was the first one I made in this current series of celebratory dance sculptures. For those who have been here for a while, it reminds me a bit of my prior work, `In Transition` which captured the discomfort of growth, the feeling of being in-between seasons of your life.

I think `Making Moves` captures how one would feel after being “In Transition”. You feel a bit more free, elastic, energetic. I think it captures a sense of the celebratory fluid movement of limbs and body rolls as you’re making your next power moves.
