The hogback parallels the mountains in much of this area--though not right in Golden. This section is just north of Golden and is one of my favorite formations in the area. I love the view looking north from the bend by the 'Taj Mahal' (the Jeffco courthouse) through the Golden Valley toward the hogback. So picturesque!
The inset pieces are cyanotype prints of collaged fabric and doilies, which reminded me of the night sky.
