I use paper to try out colour palettes and compositions as a warm up before moving on to a canvas, these often turn into little works of art in themselves. I also love the different quality that results from working on paper. This one reminds me of our trip to the Northern Territory and walking around the Olgas lots of amazing pinky red colours not to mention that it is a very long walk! This can be the left hand side of a diptych with It's a long walk II.
