Titles for expressionist artworks are not always immediately obvious as in most cases the painting progresses as an experience in colour, shape and brush stroke. Although sometimes a specific idea or concept may be in mind. In this particular case it appears to depict some old buildings and hence the title. In many ways I would prefer to call my artworks something along the line of "abstract #105 in blue and grey" :-)
