Nature and the environment are always excellent inspiration for painting either through the patterns, subject matter or colours one can see. I did not have any specific outcome in mind when commencing this painting however when I stepped back my first impressions were either of a fire through the forest or sunset through the reeds. The latter title grew on me perhaps because of the more peaceful nature.
