Highlights
An eclectic mashup of different paintings to give you an idea of the range of subjects and styles I enjoy.
Close to Home - Farmington Nostalgia
Born and raised in Farmington, CT, I’m a New Englander through and through. I love its seasons, the woods, the water, the light. I love walking with friends and there are many sweet memories in these paintings of scenes along the way.
Some of these paintings will be on display in the Farmington Nostalgia exhibit at the Farmington Barney Library from December 10, through January 5th. All proceeds will be matched and donated to the Farmington Land Trust and the Connecticut Land Conservation Council. A reception will be held in the Hoppin Gallery on December 14, from 3-5pm. It is free and the public is warmly welcome.
Farm Friends
My sister, my neighbor, and one of my best friends owns Clatter Ridge Farm in Farmington CT and one of my favorite things to do is spend time with her or her animals on the farm or grazing at The Hill-Stead Museum property. Many paintings have been inspired by these peaceful scenes and the recognition of the importance of small local farms in our communities.
All Available
All of my available (unsold) paintings are listed here. Let me know if you are interested in a piece and I can tell you where you can see it in person.
Fresh off the Easel
Recently completed paintings and a few tweakages to share. I’m happy to help you find the right frame and help you see what it will look like in the location you’d like to hang it.
Adirondacks
There is some very special about the Adirondacks where we can nestle deep into the forest or rise up on the highest peaks and see vistas untouched by human hand yet shared and loved by so many. I feel more centered and connected here to myself and the other creatures I share the planet with in a way that makes my heart sing.
Hill-Stead Paintings
All of these paintings are of Hill-Stead scenes, of the barn, the house, the woods, and surrounding vistas.
