This nymph is a strong guardian of a complex forest environment she fills with energy and power. The desert nymph is becoming angry at the poor treatment and degradation of her environment, as reflected by the inadequate response to the readily apparent environmental changes already taking place.
This is the second nymph I drew with her environment based on my own photography. Candy wrappers are layered under the photograph on tissue, creating the base of the image and providing shine and sparkle, but also highlighting the trash in our natural areas. The image in the photograph has enhanced color and was tiled on nine sheets so covers the whole image and has paint for more texture and emphasis for the nymph.
