Abstruse, name of this piece, means difficult to understand; obscure.
I painted this group of paintings after watching two seasons of the series Arcane. The broad definition of ARCANE, the collection name, is mysterious or obscure. I think the vibrant colors, strange and otherworldly scenes really captured my imagination. The story line of people questioning their loyalties and beliefs as well as people hiding true agendas related for me to our current times.
