Purchased at a jewellery shop in front of the hotel Indépendance in Ouagadougou. The owner used the sell handmade, small wire-bicycles to my father in the early 1980ies. The seller does not usually sell bronze artwork. He sold those two ceremonial rain dancer puppets on behalf of an old man. According to the old man the puppets are at least 60 years old.
