Purchased in Ouagadougou at the antiquary Abdoulaye Aboubacar, in front of the Ecole Primaire Saint Exupéry - the school I attended as a child. The statue is from the ethnical group of the Gourounsi, from the Tiébélé village in Burkina Faso.
