"Dum Spiro" is Latin for "While I breathe," a phrase often accompanied by "Spero"—"I hope." I titled my work While I Breathe, (I Hope) to convey the idea that the first part is spoken aloud, while the rest is a quiet whisper within the heart—an unspoken truth when the body is too weary to complete the thought.

For me, this motto embodies resilience and optimism, a reminder that even when shadows gather around the soul, hope remains. It speaks to the unwavering belief that better days lie ahead and that there is strength to endure until they arrive. A motto for those who refuse to quit till the very last breath.
