Roots, Rocks & Fizzy Water was awarded Honor Finalist in the February 2025 Bold Brush Painting competition by Juror, Carla Paine.

Oak Creek Canyon features a spring-fed creek that winds its path over a rock- and boulder-strewn creek-bed. Every twist, turn and tumble offer magic to the artist’s eye. On this particular afternoon, I was caught by the lowering sun catching the golden leaves and sparkling, fizzing water!

Roots, Rocks & Fizzy Water is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas of 1.5 inches depth. The image is painted around and onto the sides of the canvas and presented in a frame that shows the painted sides of the canvas.
