Hemp fiber has been used for over 50,000 years, and is extremely durable. The billowy sails on many ships are made of hemp cloth. This piece is a meditation on the sails that enable travel and billow in the wind.

Art is illuminating, healing and necessary. Creating something unique, merging color with form, and revealing new aesthetics, is a passion of mine. Every time I am out in nature, I feel a sense of wonder, gratitude and connection. I hope to convey the message of upholding keeping of the land, through my artwork and process.
