Blue Cat’s “Bling” Mat framed: 18’x18” This piece started out as a abstract idea of using up some of my leftover yarn worms, eventually becoming much more whimsical and defined over time. I was Inspired by spending time with family pet cats and how they love to get their claws into rugs! Do you see the bird? Hooked , punched and proddied with wool yarn and wool strips into burlap. Proddy silk sari and cotton strips on the cat border.

Art is illuminating, healing and necessary. Creating something unique, merging color with form, and revealing new aesthetics, is a passion of mine. Every time I am out in nature, I feel a sense of wonder, gratitude and connection. I hope to convey the message of upholding keeping of the land, through my artwork and process.
