Indeed, this painting is full of the vibes of Hurricane Dorian. I completed it during the storm from the safety of my cottage on Prince Edward Island. The wide reaching view of the storm over an expansive tidal river was dramatic and fuelled my creativity in a visceral way. Having grown up on the Island, my art is often awash with expressions of weather and water.
