'Shorelines' is a seres of 7 small paintings that reflect my deep rooted connection to the edges of water. Almost everyday for over two years during the pandemic, I have walked. I walk along river, lake or ocean shores, depending on where I am — in Ottawa (over winter) or in Prince Edward Island (over summer). This series is based on these walks.

The sides are painted so this can be hung without a frame for a contemporary look. A clear acrylic has been applied to the surface to preserve the colour and protect it from UV light, moisture and dust.
