Like much of my art, ‘Island Postcard’ expresses the love that I have for my home province of Prince Edward Island—not only the amazing natural beauty of its colourful landscape but the general atmosphere and wonderful sense of place that shine through as well. In this piece, I incorporated metallic blue, turquoise and yellow-green paint to highlight the sparkling beauty of the fields.

The gallery-depth sides (1.5 inches) of the piece are painted so framing is optional. Finished all over with a clear acrylic varnish to protect from fading, dust and UV light. Wired and ready to hang.
