Nocturnal would be my breakthrough piece. It was the inspiration for what would become my first real body of work: The Atmospheric Series. Also, Nocturnal was accepted into the South Carolina Festival of Flowers Juried Art Show which is hosted annually by The Arts Center of Greenwood. Nocturnal was one of many pieces of art in the exhibition on view in the main gallery of the Greenwood Arts Center. The final exhibit included 62 works from a total of 294 original entries. The show was from June 6, 2025 through August 9, 2025. I have to admit that I’m still pinching myself that one of my paintings was on display at this beautiful venue.
