I decided to change things a little bit with this atmospheric painting. Unlike the others, you can actually see the brush strokes in this one, which makes it more energetic. And, of course, there are the layers upon layers of beautiful turquoise. Isn't it the most delicious color? The fiery streak of crimson and coral across the middle is pure movement. The lower portion of the painting has softer, sandy tones and textured strokes, while the drips add a little burst of spontaneity. I love the way this painting feels both serene and untamed.
