“I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9) While Jesus spoke of gates and sheepfolds, what I saw in my heart was a doorway opening onto a quiet place of light and life, one of my favorite trails where the world feels whole again. It’s a glimpse, I think, of what’s to come, the beauty of a restored creation, the welcome of peace, the invitation home.
