Inspired by 1 John 2:1-6, I was particularly struck by the last verse that says that whoever says they abide in Christ should walk the way he walked. Whenever I think of the word abiding, I am reminded of the verse in John 15:5 where Jesus talks about being branches coming out of the vine, and so also in this case, growing things came to my mind’s eye. But how do we know how to walk? We need a map to know where we are going, which is the Bible to help guide us, both of which you can find here.
