In Greek mythology, the wife of Minos, King of Crete had a violent and abnormal passion for a bull. To help her consummate her desire, Daedalus, the famous craftsman, built a hollow wooden cow in which Pasiphae was placed . The result of this union was the dreaded monster "Minotauro," half bull, half man.
