Leda was a beautiful woman, and her beauty attracted the attention of Zeus, who spied her from his throne on Mount Olympus. The beauty of Leda roused Zeus to action, and the god transformed himself into a magnificent swan.A nude, pink woman with black hair has one arm around a large swan and the other arm, with an open hand, is bent slightly. She is facing the swan and being embraced by one of the swan’s wings. The swan’s wings have a little bit of blue, yellow, and orange; but most of its wings are dark and light shades of pink with off white at the top and bottom of each wing. The woman is the same color as one of the pinks in the swan’s wings. The subjects are standing in front of a multicolored background with a panel of wallpaper containing flowers behind the swan and gold foliage in the lower right corner.
