The rising sun made this bit of wildness along a road through an industrial park glow with incredible color! Noticing these overlooked spaces can help us reconnect with nature
I look for what the Earth wants us to hear and see by searching for unseen experiences or a sense of place. My goal is to help people bridge that gap between conscious and unconscious awareness of our connection with nature and appreciate their hidden beauty.
It is pastel on sanded paper, 11" H x 14" W, currently framed for the upcoming Pittsburgh Pastel Artists League 2024 Annual Members Exhibition "Rendering Radiance" at the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Ligonier, PA.
