This pastel on 11"H x 7"W unframed LuxArchival paper is titled, "Journeys".
It is an intuitive abstract work, using soft pastels with alcohol washes (much like how water creates effects in watercolors). Then as I worked, the floating figure-like images emerged, and the white "pathways" represent the human spirit's journey which is never truly linear.
