Pastel of the Carrie Furnace, an abandoned steel mill along the Mon River that is part of the Rivers of Steel preservation effort. It fell silent when the steel industry collapsed in Pittsburgh in the 1980s. It stands as a tribute to the heritage of steel making in the region.
This is an excellent gift idea for offices or anyone involved in the steel industry,
and a great gift for any Pittsburgher (Yinzer)!
