“The Letter” 30”x 60” oil on canvas
A collaboration with French artist Edouard Vuillard. This painting was inspired by his depiction of the women in his circle. I translated his large interior (a small painting) into a larger format. This interpretation evokes an ethereal space, ghost-like presences, feminine patterns and addition of creative endeavors (piano and letter).
