The old chimneys and turrets define the architecture in Paris. While wandering the streets, my head is often looking. They create wonderful shapes ad shadows.
Because the city’s historical architecture was defined years ago to be not taller than six floors and of a light-colored stone, the skyline has remained the same. The French architect, Hausmann, completely redesigned the City of Paris under Napoleon Bonaparte’s rule from 1853 to 1870. It has remained to be enjoyed today.
