The Musée Carnavalet in the Marais area, tells the history of Paris of a bygone era. The arches around the interior courtyard beckon you in. The texture of the old building attracted me; I painted this large painting with many colors and many textural devices. It does not require framing but has painted, deep gallery-wrap sides.
