The sunken garden at Filoli Garden in Woodside, California is planted yearly with several color changes with the changing seasons. The reflecting pool is quite serene inviting visitors to stay for a while. Filoli is one of the very few National Trust Gardens in the United States and rivals historical English gardens. What a treat that I was able to teach painting workshops there for over 15 years.
