The “CIE Standard Observer” graph displays all visible colors to the human eye. A border is drawn on top of this graph that shows the colors that can be displyed on a computer monitor.

“Standard Observer (Looking Glass)” defines the visual reality created for a person as they stare at a computer monitor for hours on end. In media theory; the computer monitor is the retina of the mind.
