A minimal light sculpture recreating color data systems. In addition to spatial data (3D Display Cube), human eyes also receive information through color data. LINE recreates color data systems through full-spectrum control of tri-color LEDs, which are laid along the piece’s five-foot span. RGB is manipulated into a clock and attributed to hours, minutes, and seconds, creating timed color patterns and overlaps throughout the day, thus engaging the viewer to think about changing perception of color unfolding over time.
