This piece has a long history underneath. First stage of work in 2008 with a texured foundation of soapstone dust and woodstains and pigments. Reworked in 2017 with oils and coldwax establishing a gridlike structure on top of the texture base. Earthy colours are prevailing accentuated with gems of blue, turquoise and orange. The ladder on the top right is indicating an upward movement.
