2024-2025 Student Art Award Winner. The following is the student's artist statement:

Making art is more than a hobby for me - it's what I truly want to do in my life. Art has multiple functions for me, with one of those functions being capturing personal moments and experiences that bring me joy in remembering them. Spending hours on each miniscule detail - while painful - helps me recall the beauty in everything I see. Those little details make up wonderful memories that I do not wish to forget. Despite not pursuing a major in art, the joy of creating art is irreplaceable in my life; I don't know what my life would be like without it.
