I painted this little study quickly, just playing with color and light, but Psalm 27:1 kept coming to mind: “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” With so much happening in the world, I’ve been thinking about how much we all need light. Sometimes it’s the smallest things that remind us—the glow on the horizon, a brushstroke of gold, a moment of peace.
