This self portrait was painted at my Melrose Avenue home in Ottawa prior to my entry into University of Ottawa Visual Arts at age 33 in 1979. Part of a series of works, this painting was concerned with the then popular contemporary topic of IDENTITY.
It was sold to a clergyman and his wife from my first Studio Gallery in Ottawa (Thompson Gallery and Framing) during 1980.
