Hope Paintings: Pigment. Hand. Gravity.
Hope eschews easy answers and refuses to sit.
Born of necessity, hope is why I paint, fight, and breathe.
The dichotomy of the Hope Paintings, controlled chaos versus chaotic control, is the foundation of hope.
Each Hope painting stands alone. Each is capable of conversing with another. A split complement color triad was used for the first three painting in this series. The split complement triad is an easy relationship moving slightly past the expected norm.
Expectations, phsht! Some "rules" were broken.
Hope doesn't follow rules.
Hope: Greengold and Gold is the second painting in this series. It has been shown in Fort Worth at the Artspace111 4th Annual Regional Show ( July 2017) and These Are My Friends anniversary Art Tooth show (August 2017).
