Ranthambore Evening

From a series that I completed after my trip to India. On one of the many safaris that we took to try to see tigers, the light was at its best in the evening as a warm pink glow descended over the dry grassy hills. No tigers that day were spotted but the landscape is stunning and so unlike the Australian bush. On return home I completed some small studies in oils of the landscape of which this is one.
