From a series that I completed after my trip to India. On one of the many safaris that we took to try to see tigers. I was very surprised to see that some plants are able to survive the relentless ‘dry’ season and still look so vibrant. The euphorbia was a particular standout; clinging to the edges of rocks they would immediately catch my eye. On return home I completed some small studies in oils of the landscape around Ranthambore ‘tiger country’ of which this is one.
